Florida License #PY9458
Thank you for your interest in treatment and taking the first step toward changing your life. I am a clinician who strongly believes in the power of the mind/body connection. I approach each client with an understanding that every story is unique to ones own experience. My mission is to help empower clients to build insight into their thoughts and behavioral patterns that may be preventing them from achieving their goals. I use a relaxed, collaborative, and goal-oriented style to assist clients in excelling in all areas of lives.
I am a licensed psychologist with primary areas of interest in: life transitions, trauma, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, anxiety, depression, stress and coping, health-related concerns, and relationship issues. I utilize an evidence-based approach with teens, adults, and families. I am uniquely trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a scientifically proven approach to resolve trauma more rapidly than traditional treatment.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and my Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology in Tampa. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the University of South Florida Counseling Center with additional training at Tampa General Hospital’s chronic pain management program. I have experience working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults in outpatient clinics, schools, college counseling centers, community mental health programs, integrative medical practices, and hospital settings.
