Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the services I provide to my clients. I am an action-oriented therapist who believes in taking charge of one’s life and developing the skills to become the best versions of ourselves. My approach tends to be optimistic, emphatic, supportive, and non-judgmental. I tend to utilize technology outside of the therapeutic setting to provide additional support to those clients who wish for a more comprehensive experience.

Current Practice
I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in providing confidential evidence-based therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, and families. My areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and bipolar depression, adjustment difficulties including loss or transitions, as well as trauma, self-harm behaviors, and substance abuse. I am comfortable being part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.

Education
I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCF and my Masters and Doctorate in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, with specializations in School and Pediatric Psychology. I completed my predoctoral internship in Clinical Child Psychology at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California where I received additional training in Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders, also known as the Maudsley Approach.

I am in the process of submitting my application to become a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS). Throughout the next year I will also be obtaining advanced training to become a Certified Family Based Treatment Therapist (FBT) and expand my knowledge on Adolescent Focused Treatment (AFT).
