Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & Certified Athletic Trainer
About Jacqui Supplee
Jacqui Supplee is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), certified athletic trainer, and certified eating disorder dietitian (CEDRD). She specializes in the treatment of mild to severe eating disorders in clients of all ages. Jacqui has worked at multiple eating disorder treatment centers including residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings. In addition to her work at Integrated Care Clinic, she also works at Center For Discovery as their regional training director of nutrition services where she travels around the southeast training other dietitians on how to properly treat eating disorders.
Jacqui provides accurate, evidence-based nutrition counseling to her clients to promote mental and physical health. She works from an All-Foods-Fit perspective that seeks to reduce shame and guilt surrounding food choices and normalize food as fuel – rather than ‘good’ or ‘bad’. She is also a Health At Every Size (HAES) informed clinician who treats her clients from a lens of acceptance and openness, and recognizes the negative impact of weight stigma within the medical community. She actively seeks to reduce anti-fat bias within her nutrition counseling sessions as well as through seminars, trainings, and supervision.
Jacqui works with a variety of clients with disordered eating patterns including those with eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Orthorexia. She also provides nutrition counseling and education to athletes who engage in disordered eating patterns or have exercise addiction. In addition to eating disorders, Jacqui also works with clients who engage in stress eating, night eating, or those who want to improve their relationship with food and their body.
Specialties
I work with children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe Anorexia Nervosa. I require my clients to be medically stable (cleared by a physician for outpatient treatment). I work with you and your whole treatment team to facilitate care, provide nutritional counseling, monitor eating disorder behavior, and eventually implement mindful and intuitive eating practices. I firmly believe that full recovery is possible, and I support my clients and their family to reach that point.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe Bulimia Nervosa. I require my clients to be medically stable (cleared by a physician for outpatient treatment). Together, we will work to reduce your binge/purge episodes, excessive exercise, or laxative abuse. We will work from a framework of reducing shame and guilt in order to make effective change that will help improve your quality of life. We will also implement a nutrition plan that supports your overall wellness and total body nourishment, that also seeks to reduce urges and eating disorder behaviors.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe Binge Eating Disorder. If you struggle with your relationship with food and engage in compulsive eating that feels uncontrollable then I am here to help you feel safe and secure with food again.
I work with clients of all ages who restrict certain food categories or specific foods including those who struggle with texture or smells. I can work with you or your child to understand why some foods may be more difficult (allergies, intolerance, or anxiety) and develop a plan to re-introduce them in a safe and effective way.
I work with children, adults, and families to create appropriate and evidenced based programs for health management. This includes education and meal planning for clients with a medical illness such as diabetes, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or reflux. I work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, so overall health and wellness are incorporated into the goals instead of focusing on a single number on the scale.
I believe that food is here not only to nourish us, but to provide us with fun, socialization, and connection. I follow the ‘All-Foods-Fit’ philosophy and believe that all foods have a place in our day-to-day lives in balance and moderation.

Treatment Approaches
FBT — Family Based Treatment
Family Based Treatment (FBT) is currently the only evidence-based treatment that helps adolescents struggling with Anorexia Nervosa. I support treatment teams of therapists, psychiatrists, and pediatricians by providing nutritional counseling and support to help parents nourish their child. I provide accurate information that will help weight restore your child or teen as to minimize the risk of long-term medical complications.
ERP — Exposure Response Prevention
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) is an evidenced-based therapy that helps people struggling with phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and high anxiety. I incorporate food hierarchies and exposures into my client’s nutritional counseling to break down barriers to normal eating. We will work together to address any fear foods or situations, such as eating in front of others or grocery shopping, so you can live the life you want free of your disordered eating thoughts.
Meal Planning
I can assist you in developing a balanced meal plan that reduces the likelihood of stress eating, emotional eating, binge eating, yo-yo dieting, or restricting. I will work with you to provide a meal plan that fits both your lifestyle needs as well as your nutritional needs. I can also review your lab work to provide you with nutritional recommendations based on any deficiencies you may be experiencing.
Nutrtitional Counseling
I provide nutritional counseling to my clients so they can re-write the rules they have that surround food and exercise. I provide accurate information, meal plans, and meal support to children, adolescents, and adults with disordered eating patterns including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, picky eating, night eating, or food fears or phobias. Together we can work to develop adaptive and balanced approaches to your nutritional wellness.
